SO many of the photos that I take are "sparked" in one way or another by something else that I see or admire. I thought I'd take today's "Photo Friday" to share a few of my own VERY favorite photo inspiration sources...
Pinterest. Goes without saying that I think most of our lives have been changed by the concept of being able to "pin" almost anything we see online to a board to share and revisit later. I have multiple "photo inspo" boards set up - general photo ideas - family posing ideas for client sessions - and even a board full of ideas for photo'ing my own kids (Just wish I'd find the time to do that more!).
Inspire Me Baby. My own photography style tends to lean towards more natural and less stylized (unless I'm doing something like my back to school shoot with the boys!). Inspire Me Baby showcases a whole range of styles, so this is one of those sites that I sometimes love and sometimes don't. It's still full of great ideas from contributors and I love scrolling through the blog for inspo when I have the time.
Where the Boys Are. THIS is a beautiful new collaborative effort that I was fortunate enough to be asked to contribute to. AND it's all about photog-talented moms capturing their own boys. NEAR AND DEAR. I've already gotten so many great ideas here...
Design Aglow. A classic favorite of mine. And even if you're not into the "biz" side of things, you can appreciate the gorgeous photography showcased in their posts and take advantage of the links to the photographers who snapped the shots.
I Heart Faces. The range of photo styles and tips on this site is FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC.
Please leave me a comment with what you'd like to see up next for Photo Friday - working on a post about my RAW conversion process to share soon!
