We celebrated "FOUR" today.
When did this happen?!
I'm honestly still trying to wrap my brain around it. And "four" is so NOT baby. It's really just "little kid". And "advanced" little kid at that, since he's inevitably always trying to keep up with Evan.
On Sunday (his last day of "three"), I tucked him into bed and he told me "Momma, I want to be THREE for-evahhh!". And I couldn't agree with him more. THREE was perfection. And such a different experience than with Ev (when I had a newborn to keep up with). I enjoyed Noah's "three" immensely - savoring it as it passed and relishing every little bit of it.
And now we're embracing FOUR. :)
Noah, at FOUR...
...weighs 33.6 lbs. He just broke into size 2 babygap shorts. ;)
...loves mac n cheese, fruit snacks, apple juice, chick fila nuggets, breakfast sausage, pancakes, and applesauce most of all when it comes to food.
...is HILARIOUS. As in his comedic timing & facial expressions are spot on perfection and he makes me laugh like NO one else (sorry Eric & Ev).
...wants to be a "farmer" when he grows up. And is my #1 helper when it comes to "checking the garden". I love hearing him talk about the "pesky racoons that ate our tomatoes" or saying something like "that squash isn't really doing great" or asking to taste the mint (while he's most likely shoving it into his mouth already!)... I hope that years from now, some of these quiet little garden moments spent together are one of the things he remembers most clearly.
...is the king of imaginative play, enacting dialogues and scenes with any "guys" around and available.
...loves playing soccer, and will show anyone and everyone his medal from the past soccer "season".
...loves mickey (as always!), doc mcstuffins, pirates, PLANES(!!!), cars, tmnt's, and legos >> as go-to toys.
...calls me "crappucino" as often as "momma or mommy". Story on that somewhere in a bit of my Project Life in the archives, i think.
...hates it when I make him ride in the front of the shopping cart basket. Wants to walk or ride in the BIG part of the cart all the time... I know my child-in-the-front days are SO numbered though and I'm hanging on...!
...gives me the BEST kisses and hugs all day long.
...loves Clifford, Pete the Cat, and Curious George books a LOT.
...holds his brother "eh-ban" as the go-to for anything and everything and the person to tell ALL his "good" information to. One of my favorite parts of the day is when we pick Evan up at the bus stop - i LOVE to hear the stuff that flies out of Noah's mouth excitedly as Evan gets into the car. Sometimes its just telling him that we got a new type of cereal or fruitsnacks at the store, other times its letting him know what we're doing that day or what HE did that day.
...still lets me insists on me rocking him & singing to him nightly. I'm not complaining.
...is 100% a ladies man, working on perfecting his technique daily by telling me things like "I LOOOOOVE YOU MOMMA, you're my FAVORITE!". Guess what -- it works.
...is SNEAKY. We know it, we live it, we laugh about it... (usually).
...draws with his beloved markers daily. And has a whole stack of creations (that he won't give up) in his room.
...loves PIRATES. And TREASURE MAPS. And will be your bff if you'll draw him a treasure map. He currently has an art-quality treasure map by Papa up and framed in his room.
...And makes all of my days exciting and entertaining.
xoxo Sweetpea - We love you SO much.
