Doesn't seem quite possible...
...that my baby (or at least my "baby" up until 3 months ago) went to Kindergarten today.
Evan went back over a week ago and is loving 2nd grade. & I think Nash is happy to just grab some one-on-one mommy time for a change.
We went to see his classroom and his teacher yesterday (both of which we're very familiar with!) - and he scoped out his supply bag of goodies and was SUPERpsyched to see that he had "my own pair of green scissors mommy!", along with "two pencils and GLUE and my own crayons". It's the little things...
& He was SO ready, and SO incredibly excited -- and when he got in the car after school and I asked him what his favorite part of the day was, he told me "EVERYTHING"!
And when I pressed him for more details he told me that "we did CENTERS!, and read three books, and went on the playground twice! AND it's SO GREAT mommy!".
I can't wait to see what this year brings for him. xo.
PS - our styled 'back to school' vintage desk pics (that i like to take yearly!) are a little random in both location and content this year - but i think that's just part of what comes along with having a 3-month-old in our lives - and at least we got something snapped...! give and take these days!!!
