Popping in today with a little scrapbook share...  

I got a big box of Queen & Co's newest goodies (tape, twine, buttons, gems >> aka everything i love!) a few weeks ago, and decided to put them to good use here:

The washi tape, gems, buttons and twine are all Queen & Co.  The background paper is SC and one of my all-time faves.  I kinda need to hoard it ;)

Seemed perfect for both the beach theme of my pics and the colors the boys were wearing!

...There's also lots of Studio Calico paper and wood veneer mixed in (these speech bubbles are a NEW fave!), as well as some Amy Tangerine embellies.

I love scrapping mini pics like this in a patchwork way.  Lots of scraps, fun embellies, and machine stitching just =s fun.

And then I figured - Why not make a card with all that fab tape, too!?  :)

I stacked lots of tape along the left side of the card, covering one edge of the rough ends with a strip of patterned paper, and then wrapped twine around that and tied.

I machine stitched random lines through the tape and added some kraft heart stickers on top, & then embellished with Q&Co gems.

And then I used my Silhouette machine to cut the sun shape out, adding in the custom text greeting (Bebas Neue & Wisdom Script fonts).

(So good to be blogging more often this month!)
