It's been a crazy kind of week, full of sickie-sniffles & coughs, along with the usual general chaos, hence the lack of blogging.
and honestly i'm finding that unless i plan my posts out and get them scheduled ahead of time on the weekend, they usually don't end up happening?! but i'm working on it. ;)
despite the crazy, we wrapped up the end of the week celebrating #10 for our little toy poodle, Toby.
and YES - we celebrate everyone's birthday in this house. always have. always. always.
...We had a fun little "birthday party" (see two pics above) on Friday afternoon after Preschool pick-up, that consisted of Evan, Noah & I wearing party hats and giving Toby his present and lots of treats from the Petco treatbar that Noah and I had picked up earlier in the day (Ev's feeding toby a treat here to get him to stay put).
And I think that Toby loved it for the most part - or at least until the treats ran out - and then he came looking for more from me. ;) We sang to him and let him "open" his gift...
...and honestly we could have just filled the bag with tissue bc ripping it to shreds was his favorite part and brought back lots of puppy-style energy & memories.
Saturday was candles and "cake" toby style - a mini burger (minus the bun when he devoured it) from krystal.
(toby has Eric to thank for that!)

When we give my parents' dogs Christmas presents, one is interested in the new squeaky toy and the other one could care less because she just wants the tissue paper! lol Oh dogs! Love the photos.

that is just sooo cute!! we do the same here, parties for everyone :) It's good for the kids, they have fun and learn a good lesson in giving and celebrating the entire family :)
