Thanks everyone for your sweet comments on the Book Advent - it's definitely not my original idea - but i'm so glad we did it.  Evan has been LOVING the book opening thus far.  And for those of you who asked about what's in our stack...  This is a glimpse of the majority of the book stash while I sorted and wrapped them up the other day (photo taken for my December Daily!)...

we got the POP UP DELUXE version of this and HOLY COW the pop up scene at the end is amazing.  Evan wants to sleep with this book in his bed he loves it so much.  and just keeps saying "WOW, how'd they do that?!".  ;)

that is quite the pop up book! I think I will try this next year, my goal will be to buy a few book a month and then wrap them, then by Dec. I'll have all the books, thanks for the idea Susan!

Thanks for sharing some of your fave books! Can you suggest any others that have been hits in your house? And how did you find these titles? My two kids are about the same age as yours, and I will definitely be doing this next year! Can't wait! :)

LOL..I had planned to wrap up all our books too this yr..and they stayed on my bedroom floor the entire month. Bad mom. Maybe next yr!
