{SC's Brooklyn Flea REVEALED!}

December's kit was SUCH a good month.

so good that i managed to squeeze out nine projects even with the business and craziness of what this month really was.  here they are...

...THE ABC's is my 'main only' kit.  ALL Brooklyn Flea here.

...NINE uses a photo combo that i blogged last march.  the pregnancy shot is from the day before i had noah and the pic of my noahpants was taken on his 9 month birthday.  I had been waiting on just the right paper combo to put this page together.  the ADDON patterned paper this month was fabulous.

...17 Months is another 12x12 photo (printed at costco) page for noah's every month book.

...Favorite is just that - photos that are my favorite.  and also my very favorite aqua + yellow color scheme - just like n's nursery where these were taken.

...Halloween 2011 - bc really, this photo needed to live BIG in my scrapbook, don't you think??

...Christmas 2010 will be fun to see how our santa pics next weekend compare to these from last year.  LOVED the christmas stamp set in SHINY BRITE (used here) - will be using it a lot i know in my december daily.

...my Let Love Grow card was a GREAT way to clean up from my nine layout - love doing this.  and love that stamp, too.

...The Amy Tangerine tags in Salvaged were so cute that i had to work them onto a card here.

...and my last project - a fun card made with scraps and punches and the cute little sentiment sayings in Brooklyn Flea.

{Studio Calico December Sneaks!}

After taking a much needed break from my computer over the past few days, I've finally returned in time to put together a few of my favorite sneaks from Studio Calico's December Kit: Brooklyn Flea.

I LOVED this kit.  Loved as in i made NINE projects with it.  Yes.  NINE*9!!!  You can see them all later today (it's already the 27th - I'm up late!) at Reveal.

I hope everyone else loves this kit as much as I did.

ps - I also got Addons #1 and #2 - Salvaged and Shiny Brite.  Plus More Color and also Addon Patterned Paper (the patterns were beyond fabulous throughout this kit, and i couldn't resist!).

Products used on my projects: Mister Huey's Calico White (grab this before it sells out yet AGAIN!), Shine, Dewey, Foam squares, & Rouge Zing!.

{thankful...}

...for so VERY much.

starting with these three amazing, incredible, & loving boys.

and ending with a delicious dinner and eric's first (succesfully!) cooked turkey ever.  he is now the 'king of turkey's' in our house.  as in he "owns" the turkey.  ;)  which works out very well since I don't eat meat!!!

hope everyone had a fabulous thanksgiving!

ps - I am so glad that i took this series of photos this year...  have two more planned for the remainder of the year and then i can't wait to create a HUGE wall project with them for our home.

Last friday I celebrated #34.

((I have a feeling 34 is going to be great.))

And while there was no wonderwoman cake, there was a very pretty pink "girl" cake as Evan called it.  ;)  (ps - this is SO noah right now >>> pushing evan away while still looking adorable bc he doesn't want to share me.  ha.)  oh, and noah is stripped down to his dipe bc he's about the COVER himself in buttercream.  good times.  ;)

I also lots of time spent over the weekend with my favorite boys.

And, I even managed to squeeze some time in yesterday to assemble most of my december daily album - still finishing the page details, but here's a peek at the cover.

I will be sharing lots more of it this week, and also during the month of December.  I love the little Studio Calico kit album that I'm using for it - the 6x8 size seems to be VERY manageable!  :)

This is the first year that I've made a DD album, & I can't wait to start filling it up with photos (both Christmas AND Hanukkah as we celebrate both and I've set aside page foundations for both holidays).  My friend Maggie has put together an AMAZING photography workshop that will run through the month of December - giving you lots of ideas of photos to take to keep you motivated and on track with completing your December Daily album this year.  Here is a bit more info:

{Lately...}

...I've been having a serious case of FALL-ENVY.  especially after spending the past weekend in Philly (where the leaves are at their best right now) with Eric and Evan -- All Evan wanted to do was throw leaves on us.  ;)  (*more photos from philly soon!)

(somehow I don't think that a simple pumpkin spice frap is going to cure this?!)

...I've been caught up in a never-ending pre-holiday cycle of shooting sessions and proofing images for my photog biz (which I don't often mention here but do have linked on my sidebar --> over there!).   You can see some of my recent session sneaks on my very new facebook page HERE.  and psst - would love it if you wanted to go ahead and "like" my page ;)

...I've been "organizing" all of the pretty holiday-ish scrapbook product that I've been collecting over the past few months into a pile for my December Daily album this year - now just to find time this weekend to assemble the page foundations.

...I've been loving listening to Cities 97 (my very favorite MN station) on my iMac while i proof.  I miss listening to it in my car.  :(  And if you're one of my MN blog readers and are planning on picking up this years Cities sampler CD on Thursday morning and wouldn't mind grabbing me a copy - PLEASE email me or post here!!!! :)))  GOT A COPY!  thank you BETH!!! :)

...I've been thinking about turning 34 at the end of the week.  Why does it feel like 24 was just last week???  Evan says that I'm getting a wonderwoman cake for my birthday.  We'll see.  ;)

...& I've been pre-buying holiday gifts for the boys.  Fisher-Price is officially tackled.  Superhero little people are hidden in the closet for N.  Various miscellaneous superheros that we somehow DIDN'T?! have are strategically tucked into suitcase pockets for E.  And I'm desparetly trying to get ahead.  With everything.

{Hello Fall...}

...i've got a quick scrap-book share today.

Had been HOARDING these photos for almost three years now.

until i finally broke down and used them on this page that I created for Creating Keepsakes.

...THE moment that "then-baby" Evan (the child who at that time was ONLY eating pancakes and watermelon and was very, VERY picky to say the least) grabbed an apple off of the ground at our favorite MN apple orchard, and took a big old bite out of it - is something that will stay with me forever.

This page ended up as a part of CK's online edition for September, but it's without a doubt one of my favorite pages I've ever made. :)

The banner-esque embellies at the top are just punched leaves from patterned paper scraps, and then there's also lots of my favorite american crafts, studio calico, and bella blvd products included here.

Hope everyone has been enjoying Fall as much as we have been here the past few weeks!

{at 17 Months...}

At 17 Months...

Noah is hilarious.

(and knows it!).

He's growing into so much more of a boy than baby everyday, and is always just trying to keep up with Evan.

...the only way to keep him still for a few minutes to shoot these was to pile him up onto my new trunk, in the backyard.  That was, until he figured out that he could (a) jump off, or (b) stand up on it & dance around and scare the crap out of me. ;)

And so, at (now) 17 Months, Noah...

...weighs 23.4 lbs (with clothes, shoes, and lolly in hand at the dr's yesterday).

...still wears mostly 12 months sized pants - and even some of those don't fit bc he's tiny in the waist.

...Loves to dance and sing - his favorite songs to dance to are a (1) deathcab song, (2) stevie nicks song, and (3) the ABC song.  He hums the ABCs quite well, too.

...says "banana" and "batman".  The two most important things in his life right now.  ;)  Although I'm somewhat convinced that he uses "banana" interchangeably with "lunch".  Around lunchtime he will start asking "na-nuh?  na-nuh?".

...knows (and points) to his hair, eyes, nose, mouth, bellybutton (and LAUGHS hysterically for this one), hand, and foot.

...Likes to steal Eric and my alarm clock off of our nightstands (they're cordless).  And then leave them in the most random of spots (like buried in a clotheshamper).

...LOVES to read.  His current often-repeated faves are "ready set go" by nina laden, and "baby on the farm", "pat the bunny" (an book evan never really loved but Noah can't get enough of), and "open the barn doors".  He also loves to look at sesame street books in the car - I'm getting really good at tossing books back into his reversed rear-facing car seat while driving.  ;)

...gets jealous when Evan sits with me to read a book or look at something.  Noah likes to come over, sit down ON me, and then push evan away.  We're working on sharing.  ;)

...LOVES his elmo and super-grover dolls.  Likes to carry them around everywhere.

...Adores the thomas the train table and carries trains all over the house and out into the car.

...likes to put on his own shoes when we're ready to go somewhere.  He marches over to our "shoe bin", picks out his little flexible baby sneakers, and then tries to "step" into them.  Or sits and mashes them up to each of his feet.

...still applauds everytime we pull into the driveway and i click the garage door opener.  he likes to be at home.  :)

...drops what he's doing & RUNS to the bathroom when we tell him it's time for bath.  Then throws all the bath toys into the tub.

...and LAUGHS all the time.

i love that.

{Halloween Recap}

We trick or treated.

We discussed Halloween legend - Evan kept asking "When are the ghost-tes going to come out?", which was quickly followed up by "What about the witches?  When are they going to fly through the air?".

We had to repeatedly stop Noah from walking through the front door of every house we stopped at.  ;)  He loved taking candy from everyone's bowl, but then he also loved throwing it back in.  And then taking it out AGAIN.  you get the idea.  ;)

We made & displayed our first jack-o-lantern this year... hand-drawn (with minor help) by Ev.  He told me it needed "scary eyes".

We aquired quite the stash of candy and halloween loot...

And... We tasted our first lolly.  After chewing through the paper wrapper (which convinced momma that he REALLY wanted to taste that lolly).
