SO, Here we go... My MINI ALBUM from addon #4 Almanac is FULL of pics from our NYC trip last weekend. It was a little tight getting all of the images loaded, processed, resized, printed AND assembled into this book this week (which was crazy enough as it was) - but i managed to pull it off, and i'm so glad. I love this finished little book!
The cover was stamped using the circle grid background stamp from Addon #1 (Perennial) and Watermark Ink - I actually used a lot of this ink this month - both to emboss and just add tone-on-tone design to my projects. (I also splattered a bit of Calico White on top of the stamped image).
...I used my mini attacher to staple down lots of bits and pieces and memorabilia, and also used the washi tape that was included in both the main and Addon #4 to hold down photos & accents.
...The "2011" is stamped from the Number stamp set included in Addon #2 Greenhouse. Also - no one freak out or anything, but I HANDJOURNALED THIS MINI-ALBUM!!!! (mainly as a time saving move, but it was also way easier than my usual printed journaling tabs!). AC's precision pen was my friend here. ;)
...I used the stamp that's included with Addon #4 Almanac as a journaling spot (above) throughout the mini - the watermark ink was perfect for this.
...i would easily take & use a whole package of these chevron hearts! (it was part of the Amy Tangerine die cuts in Addon #4 Almanac).
...the finished look of the Wood Veneer doily above is the result of: Misting Heirloom Blue + Calico Shine onto the veneer - drying it with my heat gun - and then covering it with embossing ink + clear zing for extra gloss.
...The chipboard butterfly here is actually 2 layers - bottom covered and embossed with Copper Zing! and top with Powder Zing!.
And finally... a girly sneak from me. ;) The project above is made ENTIRELY from the main kit - Field Guide (which is gorgeous and full of exclusive product this month!).
can't wait to share finished projects after REVEAL tomorrow.

WOW! ... you are really going to make me get it all, aren't you! CANNOT wait to see that mini. I am so not a mini person, but I keep seeing these sneaks of everyones... and feel the need to do one too :)

This is so pretty! I can't wait to see all of it. The mini is looking so great. I LOVE, LOVE the handwritten journaling. ;)
