So, I'm excited to say that I hav LOTS of good stuff - fun photos - and oodles of projects to blog this week - (yay!) - and am going to try to get the blog back on a somewhat regular track. TRY. ;)
Wanted to start the week off with the Elle's Studio projects that I was so lucky to be asked to contribute this month! Elle's tags and embellies are so cute, that it was a pleasure to create Guest Designer pages for their monthly gallery.
So I wanted to share my projects here now, and I also have a very generous give-a-way to offer to my blog readers (at the bottom of this post, so keep reading!), courtesy of Miss Elle herself!!! ;)
My first project is a FAVORITE photo of Evan from our little "farm day" last fall. I love that my mostly-reserved child actually reached out to pet this little baby chicken that was being carried around the coop!!! The Elle's Studio Calendar tag that I used here is one of my favorite tags that they make! There's also some BRAND NEW Studio Calico product used here - Memoir Alpha Stickers, Chipboard Clouds, & Label Stickers - as well as papers & embellies from the new Bella Blvd Fall Collection (I love their bright paper prints!).
My 2nd page gave me a chance to use all of Elle's new Christmas tags to document our 1st annual official "pajama day" from last Christmas! I'm loving the way that aqua + red took shape on this page - who thinks that would be a fabulous christmas color scheme this year?!?! hmmm. More Studio Calico Memoir patterned paper here & also my FAVORITE NEW shade of Mister Huey's - Heirloom Blue... i think my bottle is already half empty?!
...For my Hello Sunshine card I used one of Elle's large journaling tags as a base for the design - along with lots of the new Mister Huey's Calico SHINE splattered on the cardstock behind. The Shine has a really fabulous silvery look to it when it goes on thicker, and a sheerer shimmery look when you mist it finely. LOVE it!
