The past week has been a whirlwind, but I'm super-excited that one of my all time FAVORITE kits: Studio Calico's July Kit -- Mind the Gap -- is now live.
and this is what i made with it.
..."A Year of You" - was my attempt at using all 12 of the mini month stamps in Addon #3 "Pint". This addon could have sold me with just the stamps alone. :)
..."ONE" is another at-a-glance style recap page for Noah's baby book. This is my all-time record at most photos on a single page - I think there were 97 when i tallied them all up!
When i created my first year slide show for him, I pulled all of my favorite shots from his first year and saved copies of them in a 'favorites first year' folder on my computer. So going back to create this digital collage page was pretty simple in that regard. I'm writing an 'insider' blog post on it for the SC blog next month, so stay tuned for more deets. ;)
..."Sweet" uses a silhouette cut die (from the 'square circles mesh card' in the silhouette shop) from kraft cardstock as the base for a patchwork-like effect of all of my favorite colors and patterns from this kit. The chipboard frame that i backed with foam adhesive is in Addon #4 - Flat. My title was also die-cut.
..."Our First Photo" is one of the very first photos that Eric snapped of Noah and I just minutes after he was born. It makes me VERY nostalgic. :) The soft color scheme & zig zag stamp from Addon #1 Knickers was a good match with the malted milk ink.
