just exit the blog now. ha!
this was made for my sister's bff - who is due in september with a boy...
the fabrics are almost all from the lizzy house - red letter day line... (by andover i think?).
there is a little bit of katie jump rope (from denyse schmidt) and some amy butler solids thrown in for good measure ;)
the backing was pieced with scraps from the front.
i really like the backing. :)
...and i just love how bright and fun and boy-modern this turned out.
next up is an amy butler mix.
here's ev helping me sort my amy butler stash.
he's so into "helping" these days.
and i just tell him that he's an "awesome helper".

your quilts are simply awesome! i love love love your color choices. So... do you buy your fabric in the fat quarters, or do you buy by the yard? do you just collect and then toss something together or do you buy with a project in mind? Just curious how you work :) I am thinking of trying one on for size ... some day!

and I saw your hand embroidery post-i have been LOVING doing embroidery lately. Easiest to do laying on the couch, 'resting' while Ethan is. LOL
