so just shy of like 10 days of 20 months, i thought i'd sneak evan's 19 months post in.

things have been a bit busy here :)
i am - however - so thrilled with the blues that i ended up choosing, and eric and i painted, and am finishing up some wall decor ideas for evan's room, and hope to post pics by the end of the month! woohooo.
and i am totally going to try to blog more through the end of the month, too. i hate it when i turn into absentee blogger... ;)
and SO. at 19 months, evan...
...is now a talker. he says: haaaaaaaaah(t) = hat. wa-wa = wash wash your hands or anything with water. cl-cl = clean up (this one is particularly fun bc he says it with his lips closed. hehe). baa-baa = banana. g-g-g-go-gaaa = gator. cahr = car. dadadada = daddy. haboom = yes (there is a layout coming covering this fabulous evster word). uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh(insert stuttering "h")-o = uhoh. hi. ohhhhh = on (in reference to lights). ohhhhhhhhhhhhh(f) = off (in reference to lights). ya-ya-ya-ya-ya = not sure yet?!
...is still super-picky with foods. altho he has added cake donuts to his limited diet. thanks to grammy and poppop. :)
...has a little seperation anxiety.
...is adorable when he takes your hand and leads you to wherever HE thinks you should be. ie playing with him. ;)
...automatically points to his EAR when i say "where's your nose?". or even when i say "evan, i have a question for you" (without the nose part). he is way past mastering "nose" and now this is his idea of a joke. and you know what - it is hysterical. :)
...loves reading 'brown bear brown bear', 'the hungry catepillar' (but only up to where the holes are in the pages, past the holes - forget it), & 'mr brown can moo' (he waits for the knock knock page)
...still has a blast running around the beach...
...but is a bit particular about the squishy wet sand on his feet. evan DEF lets you know when he doesn't like something.
