TO GIVE AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:)
this is what my ribbon-giveaway-of-goodness look like:
101 spools of delicious American Crafts ribbon... (bc really, they make the BEST ribbon!)
I've been working on cleaning and organizing and purging un-needed scrap supplies, and have minimized my VERY large ribbon stash by this lot of unused ribbon... & thought it would be fun to RAK away...
so please please please leave me a comment. i'd LOVE a link to your current favorite site of crafy goodness. i've been browsing lots of sites for inspiration lately, and i get some of the best tips from blog readers, so link me up.
>>> i'll leave this post open for comments until the end of the weekend.
And... one more thing. i have become completely OBSESSED with this granny square crocheted throw that was posted on Ohdeedoh a while back... please note - this is NOT my pic, i snagged it from the site...
you can see the post about it here: CLICK
i've looked on etsy, but cant find one like this that i love as much, so i'm thinking that there has to be someone out there who can crochet (i cant!), and who could make this for me... i'm totally open to even trading crafty services - quilting, sewing, scrapbooking... if you like. Or whatever. Email me! (link on the sidebar!)
and that's it. :)

when you find someone to make you one, send them to me too because i have been COVETING THAT THING SINCE I SAW IT. love. lovelovelove. did i say love. i even (momentarily) thought about learning to make one before i had a giggle fit about that and moved on. but i NEED ONE.
(i do not, however, need ac ribbon. hee.)

Holy moly that's a lot of ribbon! :)
I'm currently taking crochet lessons (seriously...if I can do it, anyone can. I can even tell you what book we're using for our class) I know the store where I'm taking lessons does commissioned/finishing work. Let me know if you dont get any offers on here and I'll put you in touch with the store owner.

http://www.makeandtakes.com/ one of my fave sites for finding things to make with my kiddo. :-)
i could totally make that blanket for you and i LOVE to crochet, but since i work full-time plus have a 3-year-old, it would take me forever to finish it, which sucks because i would love to trade for sewing/scrapping services! :-)

Here's a somewhat similar afghan from Garnet hill: http://www.garnethill.com/jump.jsp?itemID=12198&itemType=PRODUCT&path=1%2C2%2C5%2C9020%2C9039&iProductID=12198
the spice multi is brighter and more like this afghan.
