As some of you know...
Evan Matthew...
was finally born on Friday, July 27 at 7:50am.
He weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces and measured 20.25 inches long.
Eric and I are both so completely in love with him.
:)
I plan on writing more later - but the basic story is that I went into labor at about 1pm on Thursday - we checked into the hospital at midnight Thursday night - and we were lucky enough to come home from the hospital late Saturday night. My parents arrive on Wednesday to meet Evan and spend a week helping out, and then Eric's parents head in right after they leave. :)
We've spent the past couple of days just enjoying everything possible about Evan...
A favorite photo from each of Evan's four days of life...
Day 1 (in the hospital)... We love his delicious dark blond hair!
Day 2 (still in the hospital)... with a teddy sent from Grandma!
Day 3 (at home)... Big Yawn!
Day 4... Evan & Mommy!

Congratulations to you both, he's a real cutie. So glad to hear he's made his safe arrival, I've been checking daily. Enjoy these precious first few weeks, such a magical time. Looking forward to seeing lots more photos =o). When will he get to meet his cousin Paige?
