{V-Day Surprise}

Woke up this morning to a fun little scavenger hunt that eric left for me...

Little notes led me around the house to eventually find this...

Totally excited to see John Mayer tonight...

Love that eric kept it all surprise...

Love that I'm planning on keeping the notes up all week just to make me smile...

{Baby-Quilt-to-Be}

Had my (almost) 16 wk appt today.

So good to hear the little one's heart rate again.  (152 this time.)

Eric has come along to the last 2 appts, and loves the whole listen-to-the-heart part...

He calls it "baby-interaction-day".

Which is adorable...

After my appt, I went shopping for some fabrics...

that will become a fabulously, fun baby quilt...

After they get shipped off to my Grandma in Florida.

I love what I put together...

A bright, funky, eclectic mix...  and totally gender-neutral.

So she can get a head-start before we find out next month what we're having!

{Subzero}

I haven't been outside since Friday.

And I don't plan on going outside today.

Not even for the mail.  :)  Eric can just get it on his way in.

We've had subzero temps for 3 days straight now.

Toby tried to run outside on Saturday morning and almost became a poodle-popsicle.

We are both missing Florida... :)
